eTwinning Seminar
Exchange of experience with European partners and innovative approaches to implementing international educational projects.17–19 October 2024, an international eTwinning seminar for preschool and primary school teachers, "From Classroom to Community: Equipping Teachers for Citizenship Education," was held in Tallinn, Estonia. The event was attended by Svitlana Lenarska, an English teacher and eTwinning Ambassador in Ukraine.

The event focused on sharing practical experience in implementing international educational projects within the eTwinning programme.

Seminar MaterialsSharing Best Practices
On 23 January 2026, with the support of the Cherkasy Centre for Professional Development of Teachers, a meeting of the professional community of English teachers was held to exchange experience and innovative educational practices. The workshop "eTwinning – A Platform for Professional Collaboration and the Development of Educational Partnerships" brought together 45 teachers from Zolotonosha District and the city of Cherkasy, including both experienced eTwinning participants and educators planning to join the European community.
Svitlana Lenarska, English teacher at the Collegium and eTwinning Ambassador for Kirovohrad Region, shared her experience of participating in international projects, highlighting effective teamwork in eTwinning projects and presenting successful examples of international collaboration.
The practical workshop attracted particular interest as participants worked in teams, developed their own project ideas, and presented them to colleagues. This interactive format enabled teachers to immediately apply newly acquired knowledge in practice.

On 21 February 2026, a training event entitled "Building School Leadership Capacity – Tools and Opportunities of the Erasmus+ Programme" was held in Cherkasy for eight school leadership teams and eTwinning Ambassadors acting as facilitators.
As an eTwinning Ambassador, Svitlana Lenarska, English teacher at the Collegium, served as facilitator for the team of the Scientific Physics and Mathematics Lyceum "FiMLi". During three thematic sessions, participants developed action plans for joining the eTwinning programme, explored strategies for designing successful international projects, evaluated their schools' development strategies, identified areas for improvement, and learned about opportunities offered by the Erasmus+ Programme.

On 24 June 2026, the eTwinning National Support Organisation – Ukraine organised, for the second time within six months, a training event for leadership teams and teachers from general secondary schools in the city of Cherkasy entitled "Building Schools' Leadership Capacity: Tools and Opportunities of the Erasmus+ Programme." The event was held with the support of the Cherkasy City Council and the Centre for the Professional Development of Teachers, bringing together more than 40 teachers, school leaders, representatives of Bohdan Khmelnytsky National University of Cherkasy, and eTwinning Ambassadors. The training was hosted by Cherkasy Collegium "Berehynia".
Opening of the Event
Participants were welcomed by representatives of the Education Department of the Cherkasy City Council. The Principal of the Collegium, Svitlana Onopriienko, thanked the teachers and students for their long-standing commitment to the eTwinning programme, international cooperation, and the implementation of innovative educational practices, which enabled the school to receive the prestigious eTwinning School Label 2026–2027 for the second consecutive time.
Students' Experience
Year 10 students presented the results of the international eTwinning project "Museums Around Me", implemented under the guidance of English teacher and eTwinning Ambassador Svitlana Lenarska. The students shared their experience of international collaboration, exploring museums across Europe, learning about renowned artists, and creating their own artistic interpretations of famous masterpieces.
Collaborative Workshop
During the training, participants explored the opportunities offered by the eTwinning and Erasmus+ programmes. School teams worked on strategic development plans, designed ideas for future international projects, analysed pathways towards school internationalisation, and developed practical skills in using the European School Education Platform (ESEP).
